Hunger is purely a physical sensation that signals that we need to eat. However, our beliefs about ourselves and our food rules can cause us to fear hunger or ignore our hunger signals. To embrace Joyful Eating we need to view hunger as a sensation not to be feared but something to explore with curiosity.
