Blend the dates, tahini and water on high speed to achieve a thick, smooth paste-like consistency.
Scrape down the sides and taste test.
Add the maple syrup and a little extra if it's not sweet enough for you.
Then add the ice and blend on high speed until you have a slushy consistency. Enjoy.

Try a Chocolate Peanut Butter Frappe
Switch the tahini with peanut butter and add a tablespoon of cacao powder.
Don't have Medjool dates?
You can use other dates if you don't have Medjool. However, most other varieties will require soaking in the water for 30 - 60 minutes before blending. It will also depend a bit on the power of your blender. So, experiment to find what works with what you have available.
